Flashback Friday - Nurgle Traitor Guard

Hey everyone!

Welcome to Flashback Friday, where I revisit old armies I have painted from the past.  I have painted thousands of models and who knows how many huge armies on commission, and each one holds a special place in my heart.  A little sweat, a lot of love, and some collaboration with another person and who knows what you can create!  I enjoy looking back every once in a while at the photos and remembering the joys and struggles, the hard work and the pure enjoyment of making someone's vision a reality. But enough of that emotional stuff, let's get on with it! I miss you, baby!

Fresh Paint Showcase - Death Korps of Krieg 23rd

Hey everyone,

Just finished an Imperial Guard army - Death Korps 23rd.  Lots of cool Forge World, and more Death Riders are always fun to paint.  Arvus Lighters are pretty fun little vehicles as well.

(Sorry this is a little late! Many big things in the works around here :) )

5 Years of Adepticon Part 5 - The Rime of the Merchant Marienburger

Hello everyone!

I have been going to Adepticon for five years now, with 2013 being the fifth consecutive.  I have made "Chicago" as it is know among those close to me into something of a personal test of will, creativity, and drive.  Every year I try to top or at least match the year before in not only creativity, but size, quality, and charm.  I tend to take 2 months or so from work and just pour myself into the project of the year right before the event.  Now it's time for last year's army, and the biggest to date! Rime of the Merchant Marienburger.

Fresh Paint Showcase - Imperial Guard Armor

Hello out there!

Hot and fresh, still stinking of varnish - some Imperial Armor!  The customer asked for a scheme similar to another army I have done in the past with a few tweaks.  It was a pretty nostalgic process/scheme and interesting to see what was easier and more streamlined with time.

Until next time!

Fresh Paint Showcase - Tau Vehicle Mob

Hey all!

This newest project is a mass of rumbling Tau vehicles!  This batch was painted to match an existing color scheme. The Tiger Shark and Barracuda squadron is quite impressive looking on the table.

Enjoy!

5 Years of Adepticon Part 4 - 2012 - Munchy Gutsmen and the Holy Gristle

Hello everyone!

I have been going to Adepticon for five years now, with 2013 being the fifth consecutive.  I have made "Chicago" as it is know among those close to me into something of a personal test of will, creativity, and drive.  Every year I try to top or at least match the year before in not only creativity, but size, quality, and charm.  I tend to take 2 months or so from work and just pour myself into the project of the year right before the event.  This time we take a jump over to Fantasy and check out some silly kaniggits.  It's only a model!

5 Years of Adepticon Part 3 - 2011 - Mad Morks

Hello everyone!

I have been going to Adepticon for five years now, with 2013 being the fifth consecutive.  I have made "Chicago" as it is know among those close to me into something of a personal test of will, creativity, and drive.  Every year I try to top or at least match the year before in not only creativity, but size, quality, and charm.  I tend to take 2 months or so from work and just pour myself into the project of the year right before the event.  The third year I really wanted to take the theme and scale to a new level!  So without further ado, "Mad Morks."
