Boyz Are Done!
Both the riders pictured and the infantry. All that's left now is the three main characters and some display details. This will be my last post until it's done since it is so close. If I get done early I will update the site before I go with finished pictures.

Billboard Mounted
Went and printed out the billboard and mounted it on foamboard. Just eyeballing it right now. This is not where it will go (piggies go on the walkway), it will be up on legs, the bottom higher than the rocks in the background.Display Progress
Yesterday I did most of the basics of the board. There are still a lot of small details to be painted, and there are a lot of things not attached to be painted (cacti, piggies, the two towers in the back, the ramps and crates over the front gap, the billboard etc etc). Im going today to print out the billboard but I think I am going to start the infantry as well. It will probably be a bit before I update with something good again, as it will be a couple days before I have anything worth looking at on 100 or so Orks.

Display Basecoated
Took a break from painting yesterday to finish up the assembly of the display and get started painting. The house paint diluted with alcohol, water, and mini paints does triple duty as sealer, primer and basecoat for the dirt areas.

Makk Trukk
Front end of the tanker is about done. I am going to wait and do all the tires on all vehicles at once.

Painting Started!
Made some good progress yesterday. Other than the Orks riding them these vehicles are about 50-75% done. The Battlewagons on the right are further along than say the tanker. Tanker still needs a lot more work especially the front end.

All Primed Up
Running a little behind; got caught up fiddling with small things and had a busy weekend. Oh well.Friday, March 11, 2011
Da Gyro
There is a rider being painted seperately that goes on that little platform - a grot wearing the same sort of hat.

Updated Billburd
Updated the billboard with some more ideas I had. I think it's done at this point other than some cropping when I go to print it out.Da Makk Trukk

Sans riders and hanger's-on as usual. This is the reason I had to rework the list to have another wagon instead of a trukk :) It's rather large.

The Humongous and Wes
The Humongous isn't leaning as bad as the photo makes out. It's a product of perspective and losing his other leg behind his body. Also in hindsight I am going to swap their boss poles. Doesnt make sense for the #2 to have a larger boss pole.Adepticon Charity Nurgle Raffle Information
