Hello out there!
Another commission finished and time to do that posting thing. This time a part two of a project - some cherry blossom tan and pink Eldar. If you were around back then you may remember the first half on a very large custom backdrop with trees and a huge warp portal with a Wraithknight coming out of it. That was one of my favorite projects, and I was very much on board to do another and much larger.
This half is much more than half, maybe 2-3 times the last. Lots of awesome new models to play with. Voidscarred as a unit as well as some conversions for some Raiders and Venoms. Three new knights, the torsos heavily converted and slimmed down. I always enjoy doing a centerpiece and focal point, mascot for the army sort of large piece and these three really took that to another level. A lot of putty especially in the "Reaper" knight, who knows how much time and a lot of fun. As well as some new designs for some Aspects which last time I worked on them were the resin versions.
One of the largest projects I have ever done, it is bursting off my biggest backdrop and was only just large enough to hold it. I like projects of all sizes but the time and emotional investment in such a project is really over the top in the feeling of being done and photography. A little sad to be done, but very excited to see this out in the world making a mess of tournaments.
